Educate, Celebrate, Restore
The Lemon Lily Festival is part of a restoration and education project for Idyllwild’s native Lemon lily (Lilium parryi). This yearly event celebrates the uniqueness and rarity of this special local wildflower. The festival is affiliated with the Friends of the San Jacinto Mountain County Parks, (Friends), a member-supported non-profit organization based at the Idyllwild County Park Nature Center and dedicated to supporting the work of the Riverside County Regional Parks and Open Space District. Special events for the weekend include, music, botanist-led hikes and talks, a Pioneer Town, Arts & Crafts and more!
